Is the web site needed anymore?

I started this web site back in 2003 as a way for Alumni to keep in touch with each other and get the latest information about the chapter. I've continued to run it as a testing ground for new methods of web site creation that I've wanted to experiment with.

A lot has changed on-line in the last 6 years and my question is... do we need this web site anymore? It seems like most Alumni are now on Facebook and that would be a more efficient way to communicate. If this site doesn't contain anything that can't be done on Facebook and most people will check their Facebook account more than visit this web site, is it worth the costs of maintaining it?
